James River Watershed

The James River Watershed is over 10,000 square miles winding through all of central Virginia. Starting in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, winding through the Piedmont Plain, falling through Richmond, and finally snaking into the Coastal Plain into the Chesapeake Bay. Along its journey, it encounters some 2.5 million people within its watershed, farmland and cityscapes, forests and highways, dams and rapids. This diversity of form and scope is one of the major reasons we studied 'The Mighty James.

Here, we analyze the data regionally to search for such relationships.
